campus police.. ha

The question has been raised many times.

Are campus police even real police? And, what's their deal?
I mean I get that they say they are just looking out for students, but come on.

Chill a little.

I parked in a visitor parking spot the other week to walk into the West Center for not even two minutes. I walk back to my car, and there he is, the dreaded parking ticket man (I mean I don't actually think people even know their names).

So, of course, he gave me a ticket, and told me I was not a "visitor".

I wanted to tell him a few things myself.

I mean do they just think they are big and bad because of the uniform, or is it because they get to ride around in those "cool" golf carts?

Last time I checked, nobody likes you.

I know a girl who was attacked around 2 A.M. last week on campus, and reported to campus police.

They didn't believe her.

I mean what's a girl got to do to prove that she didn't make a story up? The girl had bruises on her face and scratches everywhere.

Yeah, I'm sure she asked her roommate to dig her finger nails into her face and punch her in the eye so it would look legit.

Campus police have no problem meeting their "quota" with the insane amount of tickets they give out a day, but they can't help a student who is obviously hurt.

Great. I feel safe.

So, campus police.. what's the deal?
